Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (MA, LCMHC)

Sydney Sarfan is a passionate child-centered play therapist with over eight years of experience supporting children and families through connection and creativity. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has advanced training in Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT). Sydney provides play therapy for children ages 4 and older, and her work also extends to adolescents, allowing both children and teens to feel seen, heard, and understood.

She has experience working with a wide range of diagnoses, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), anxiety, and mood-related challenges. Sydney believes that toys are a child’s words and play is their language, offering a safe, welcoming space where children and teens can express themselves, build emotional resilience, and experience healing through relationship.
